Salted Nut Bars
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cups brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup butter softened
- 2 cups mixed whole salted nuts
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter cold
- 1 tablespoon water
- 10 ounces white chocolate chips
Directions
- Heat Oven to 350
- In medium bowl combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and butter. Blend well (mixture will be crumbly). Press into 15×10 jellyroll pan.
- Bake 10-12 minutes.
- Sprinkle nuts over partially baked crust. Set aside.
- In a small pan, combine corn syrup, butter, water & chips. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 2 minutes, stirring continuously. Pour mixture over nuts.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown (watch carefully for burning). Cool, then cut into bars.
